I don’t have an order, but I did hear about a stop sale rumors.
The launch months are always a problem, but if this is true, the X7 sounds like more problematic than any other launch! Almost the 2nd sale stop if this is true. If there is an issue now, it’s likely that all currently released vehicles have this issue too. Note, I have not seen it formally active though, not sure if it starts later (aka: tomorrow) nor that I claim that I know. Let me know when or if your hear any further detail.

Maybe when they split the headlights they split the wiring harness (lol).

I have one for pickup tomorrow. Will find out. As of 7 pm CST there is no stop sale. Checked with the manager at 7 pm after seeing this thread and she said it’s all clear.

Lucky you. My Monday delivery was just postponed. Placed in a courtesy car until stop sale is fixed.

It must be a problem with your vehicle alone. One of my friends picked up his x7 today.

Maybe it's related to some option/packages? What equipment did your car have?

Saw this over in the U11 X1 forum. There's a delivery stop on the new U11 X1. What caught my attention is the 3rd line, G07 LCI (X7) is listed as delivery stop as well. No other info.

I appreciate the intel. My vehicle is sitting at the PCD in S. Carolina and they can't release it until it's fixed.

Delivery Stop
Got this from the dealer today, not sure if the stop sale is for this.

“Due to an electronic control unit (ECU) programming issue, potentially affected vehicles may not meet a Federal Requirement regarding the interaction between the turn signals and the day time running lamps. The ECU will be reprogrammed.”

I just got a call my my sales person that all 2023 lci x7 has this recall (voluntary) but they cann not deliver any new cars now. He said he just got the notification about 2 hours ago. For the problem state right above about the turn signal and headlight not meeting the federal requirement. A fix has not been issued yet so he doesn't know when it will be ready. Sigh...

Really odd, I did my PCD yesterday, guess they got the fix for some of them but not all?

I did mine on Monday and couldn't take mine home. Awesome experience but a letdown not being able to take the vehicle home.

My SA hasn't contacted me yet, but I wanted to know if the stop sale might be affecting my vehicle. Found this link:
https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/
on this thread for the G80:
https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1865007

I'm showing a defect code 0099310200

Would be curious what others are showing.

Interesting... do you have your vehicle already?

I'm not sure but I think the no recall just means they haven't issued a recall for it but that it is a stop sale. Hard to say since there is no code description available anymore.

Nice! The warnings don't exactly give me warm and fuzzies

Not sure the code means anything -- it appears this is generic code. If you Google it you'll see it on other boards. Also, I checked the recall status of other vehicles at dealerships and the same code popped up but for most the VIN status was CLOSED.
