Pre Cut PPF for 2023 X7? & Brooklyn Grey/AtlasGreyWhite/GlossyAsh Pictures

I felt lucky that the car was produced and delivered before the stop sale. Took a few pictures and did a few light mod in the past 2 weeks already.

Brooklyn grey looks great. I was a little concerned about the blue tint on this big car, but it turns out it suits the LCI very well(Included a comparison vs Singapore grey and Mineral white under the same light)

1. Changed the tire to Michelin A/S 4 275/40/22 square setup. Rides very smooth & balanced, and I think the rear tire looks ok after the change.

2. Bought a Lloyd mat for rear cargo because I prefer OEM looks. As shown in the picture. Liked it a lot.

Now I am thinking about self install a PPF for front bumper only. Does anyone know if any company/website has come out with pre-cut PPF for 2023 X7 front bumper?

I didn’t try buying anything from the XPEL yet. I believe they have precut kits for the M60i
- https://www.xpel.com/paint-protectio...23/BMW/X7/M60i

Do you know if the square setup you have will be a problem with BMW service/warranty? . I want to run a square setup for the winter.

Actually dealer service changed the tire for me. They said the wheel diameter is unchanged from 315/35/22 to 275/40/22. 275 is also within the spec of 10.5" wheel width in the back(Front is 9.5"), it should not create any problems at all.

That XPEL precut looks very complicated! I was just planning to put PPF on the bumper and looks like they have the precut on the glossy black parts of the front bumper too. Thanks for the info.

Agree, it is a big step up from pre-lci. Even the hard nonleather part of the seat back now feels super smooth and looks like merino leather(or maybe they changed it to leather).

Looks like you got the full leather option. Question: is the sunshade in the roofline alcantara also or is it fabric?

I believe I read in another post if you get the Alcantara Headliner in upholstery color for 1k upgrade. Then the sunshade portion is also alcantara. If not, then it is standard fabric.

Correct about the sunshade, it is black fabric but it also looks pretty good.

At the time I placed the order, the White headliner cannot be added to 40i with msport package, and only available if you have Atlas grey full leather.

M sport package comes with this black Alcantara headliner free of charge, if you don't have Msport, this black Alcantara headliner also cost $1000.

Love the interior! Looks like the same one I have on order. Is that the high gloss individual grey? It looks much different that some of the others I’ve seen recently. Looks more grey instead of the more beige gloss I’ve seen. Yours is beautiful.

I would not try to self install the PPF unless you have had prior experience. Doing the front hood, bumper, fenders, A pillar, door jam, area behind door handles will run you about 2200. worth every penny. I tried the door jams on another car, simple as it can be and still took me a couple of tries, even then I could still see some imperfection. Spending so much on the precut you do not have a do over, usually don't see the issue after it dries.

The Individual ivory/navy full leather interior on the pre-LCI was just as nice as this — the only difference is that the seat pocket on the back is quilted now. You may just be noting differences you see here in full leather vs a pre-LCI that didn’t have full leather.

Hey. I was wondering if you can do me/us a favor seeing how you already have yours and are not in QC/stop sale jail…

No worries if not. I’m just trying to figure out why the stop sale is happening.

My thought is that the white DRL is not going off when the turn signal is activated so you can’t see the turn signal that well.

Just my thoughts anyways. I believe if the turn signal is integrated into the DRL then then the white light has to shut off when the turn signal is on and then come back on when the turn signal turns off.

It needs to be with the car on and turn on the signal like you were making a turn. Not the 4 ways etc.

Can you confirm? Appreciate it!! BTW nice ride!!

Not sure if that is what’s going on here or not. My GLS operated this way anyways when I had it.

Yes. It looks even more silver at a certain angle, I like it a lot and I am sure you will enjoy it! I think it might be slightly different than pre-lci, pre lci with glossy ash feels more beige if I remembered right too.

Thanks for the tip. I am thinking of just do the bumper and maybe the area behind door handles at most. will get a quote from a professional installer.

Bumper, 1/2 hood, 1/2 fenders, door handle area is about 1500. That gives you a ball park.

Just ordered a set of these in 285/40-22. What PSI are you running and did you change the iDrive settings for tire setup at all?

First time I notice this on the 2023, it's a nice added detail compare to the Pre-LCI.
