Apexbuilt
Anyone here have any experience with apexbuilt downpipes. Pricing is on par and it uses a GESI 300 or 400 cell cat depending on gen. I search the google but seems no one has ever posted on this unit.

Its actually $899 and it reads the same as the AA to be honest. Same cat and everything. The AA being $1400 so a bit of saves if in fact its the same. I have reach out to them and if they standby no CEL I will test it.

I would give it a try for 900 bucks. A lot cheaper.

Apex use the Gen 1 GESI, Active uses the Gen 2 Active used to use the Gen1 and it worked for some time but after a year or so, it started triggering the check engine light. Active replaced the downpipes for free and upgraded to the Gen2 instead.

Correct, they have switched. We all know gen1 triggers CEL which none of us want. My buddy has some of the TI stuff and they are things of beauty!

anyone know if there is a sound difference between the two? i asked because ive had a non-cast dp (like apex) that sounded tinny although it was catless. im curious if the thicker cast AA version sounds better with no tinny sound?
