Do you know if the 4-6% on an M50i includes custom-ordered units or just a slow moving build (does that even exist in 2021?!)? Ours will be a heavily spec'd DHP model ($117k MSRP), so I'm wondering how much money I'm leaving on the table.

Anything you can add will be appreciated. Thanks!

Is it worth waiting for LCI? I have seen rendering. I have mixed feelings about that. Do we expect any power train changes except PHEV version.
It's a custom built. The only thing it doesn't have is captains chairs and dynamic handling. I really wanted a rear seat entertainment but I'm surprised it's not offered.
I got nearly 4% off.

Thanks! I'd be interested to know if you're in a part of the country with some competition, though the big markets I called seemed completely unwilling to budge off MSRP altogether.

Regardless, it sounds like I need to go back to car buying school...

I think it's market. The same Dealer will easily give me 7-8% off in a heartbeat. I have long and good relationship with them. He won't go above the current discount.

I got 3.2% off my 40i build + incentives (penfed). It took many trips to three different dealers before I could get to that point. It ended up being $2925 dealer discount + $3250 incentive off a $91,295 MSRP. Combined with the CCA rebate of $1000, I feel I got an excellent deal in this market.

Thanks, M2COMP and Phasers. Sadly, I haven't purchased from these local guys in 20 years since my first BMW, a 325i I special ordered from them. That was many GMs ago, so I may not have a bit of leverage if repeat purchases is the name of the game. Oh, well. I don't think I'll enjoy this thing any less when I pick it up in South Carolina in a few weeks!

That's what I'm getting

I'm still debating if I need to wait for LCI. It's such a difficult decision to pass on it. I love this unique color. But I think I may get this one..

Same build as me?!

We've sort of fallen out of love with our 3 year old Q7 and are ready to come back to BMW, so waiting for the unknown of the LCI changes really wasn't an option for me! But that's probably a tough call for most!

Man, that red is really cool! But it was a non-starter for my wife... When we saw Dravit Grey on an X5, we were gaga for it! Fingers crossed.
