PDR for rear driver side door?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Has anyone gotten PDR done on this door? Wondering if it’s possibly an access issue. Just seemed like an easy thing they could do to make the sale. |

The door is likely made of high strength steel and it could be very hard to fix correctly using PDR. I had the same thing happened to my xc90 before and I had to replace the door.

The interior frame of the door is high strength steel. the door skin is aluminum . Thats the issue with pdr, aluminum can stretch when being manupulated, so a dent will become a bulge. For more extensive door damage, its usually reskinned vs repaired(pulling the dent and refinishing)
