Yeah, invoice is still "about" 7% below MSRP. So yes, those getting more than 7% off MSRP (before rebates) are getting below invoice.

Right now, known additional discounts/rebates for the X7 are:
- $1,250 BMW Loyalty (available to any current/prior BMW owner)
- $1,000 BMWCCA rebate (available to anyone that signs up for BMWCCA membership)
- $1,000 USAA member rebate (must be USAA member)

There are fine print details for each of the three. One comment, I think the X7 BMWCCA rebate should be $1,500, just like it is for the 7-series, as the X7 is supposed to be the BMW SUV flagship, just as the 7-series is the sedan flagship. Supposedly same luxury approach. Similar pricing.

I own two BMW's

My dealer said that the Loyalty is ONLY available to me if I LEASE or finance the car (for a minimal amount of time...then I can payoff after a few months) -- I am planning a Cash Deal Purchase

I would prefer if this was a straight rebate without the financing or leasing requirement

I would look into the cost of financing it at closing and then repaying it a day later with cash to take advantage of the credit. May not be worth it if they charge a lot of financing fees, etc.
Bank acquisition fee is $995

I believe,
USAA is $1,000 if you pay cash (non BMWFS)
And $250 if you finance/lease with BMWFS

It used to be a flat discount regardless of lease/finance. I think it changed a few years ago.

I know this is what they charge for a lease. I don't think you pay the same fee or any fee if you finance.

Just ordered our X7 M50i with 10% off of MSRP. The dealer told us they lost money because of our order. I was told the build should be finished about 4-6 weeks from now.
We (me and my wife) picked the Mineral White Metallic after we compared all the color in the dealer's parking lot and combined with Tartufo Extend.

Looking forwards it and so excited right now.

'Lost money'? Heck, if all dealers would be so kind just to serve their customers...

They said so. I believe they can still make money, just less.

Yup, sure they did.

If not, they would be out of business soon...

As I know, sometime the dealer may sell the car with very low price price because they want to make a certain selling number before deadline set by manufacturer so that they can get some money back from them.
I think I just grab a chance. Very lucky we are.

That's true. But as you pointed out, even in that case, they still made the money by selling it to you and not losing the money from the manufacturer.

Congrats! Did you compare white to tanzanite? I am leaning towards white as well.

I did. Ametrin or Tanzanite was our first choice and then Phytonic Blue. But after we compared all the colors by seeing and comparing all of them in real, we decided to choose Mineral White.
I think they are all great choice. Since we can't really tell which is better, so we decided to choose a free one. HAHA

Hello!
I'm in Houston as well and looking to purchase an X7 within the next few weeks. I have not started talking price yet, but can you share from which dealer you received the 10% off? Thanks in advance.
Did you do a lease or purchase?
I was doing some reading about the rebate from BMW CCA. Did you do that?
Thanks in advance.

I actually had moved to DC/VA area. So I didn't place the order in Houston. If you still want, I can give you the contact. I didn't know about the rebate before I placed the order, so I didn't do it.

Thanks. If you purchased it in DC, then there is no need. Your profile says Houston, so that is why i asked. Incidentally, i hope you were rooting for the Astros last night! Too bad they blew it.

Just moved and didn't change my profile yet. I think they just had too much pressure on them-self.

It's been so hard to get a discount here in Portland for an X7.

How can I do this?

Shop around, make calls out of state. Don't expect your local dealer to budge.

Tougher to get good deals in Houston. X7s sell like an econobox here. My X7 is on production now. DM me if you want details on my dealer experience.
