Loyalty incentive requires financing with BMWFS.

But to be honest, this depends on dealer that you end up with and is a great question for the broker as they are brokering the deal. Some dealers are firm on the requirement, others are flexible.

Just do not take it personally, I am serious, and I've been driving and buying only BMW last 23-24 years. They are just people with their problems, markets are down and bonuses are in jeopardy. I am living in Chicago and it is not a great market to buy. I am shopping around in different states (CA, NJ, NY, and CO are the best) and you could imagine how many nice BMWs are around. At the same time, there is nothing at the Chicago dealerships that I want to buy. The only thing I do care about is the place where I am servicing the car and in some cases, I stand my ground and fight off for better service. It is just because I am not moving out in the nearest future and it is better to discipline my local BMW dealer who is almost around the corner.

I could get 2k off plus all rebates, but it was a 6 month wait for me. If you want to go to other markets, you can get deeper discounts but have to drive.

In NY/NJ area seems everyone is asking 3k-5k over MSRP for '24 M60. Anyone seeing anything better?

Southern California here, ordered a 2024 BMW X7 in March 2024, I shopped around (emails) for quotes, ranged from $5000 over MSRP (yeah right, not in this market) to we’ll sell it at MSRP.

I managed to find a few dealerships that’ll do 4-5% off MSRP, and finally settled at 4.25%.

My wife and I just took delivered of the car 2 weeks ago, love it.

Do not pay MSRP or above, there are deals out there, just be patient and shop around. Luckily, in Southern California, there are 20+ BMW dealerships to choose from.

Agree. Don’t pay MSRP. I’m about to pull trigger on a X7 40i with Next level auto brokers. The owner Dan is top notch. He tells me the Tristate area is awful to get below msrp because people are willing to pay full price. He finds most deals down south and ships the car to wherever you want. Getting 4% off MSRP plus $1000 corporate fleet. I’m giving the Long Island dealer one last chance but doubt they’ll budge.

I purchased my x7 at the wrong time, 5/23, with high-interest rates and payments. Still, the vehicle only has 20,000 miles and is certified for three additional years; while my MB GL, while having no mechanical issues, was beginning to look and feel older, the X7 has over exceeded all of my expectations so far! A joy to drive

Hi Uchok00, would you be willing to share the dealerships in SoCal who were willing to give a discount? I am in the market for a 2024 BMW X7 40i. New user so I cant DM yet. Thanks!

The MSRP was $93295 (2024 X7 40i, with M sport packages, premium package, driving package, 22 inch alloy wheels, parking package)

The selling price was $89300 (discount of $3995).

Of course, that's not include sales tax (9.5%) and fees/registration.

So my final out of the door price was $98832.58.

The process was pretty fast. I started inquiring in March, placed the order on 3/15/23, and picked up the car on 4/19/23.

I guess I should push a bit more on the discount...to 6-8%, oh well, wife is happy with her new car, so that's the most important part, right?

I got my car at Nick Alexander BMW Imports with salesperson John Won.

Is it worth locking in a money factor/finance rate with BMWFS for 60 days while waiting for the car to be built. I am being told the build process will take about 6-8 weeks. Weighing this against the chance the interest rates will increase in the month of June or July, I am not sure if I should take the hit to my credit now and hope the vehicle is delivered in those 60 days or risk a higher rate by waiting?

And if I run credit now, will they need to run it again when I take delivery? Any advice is appreciated.

There’s no downside of locking. If the rates go down you will get the new rate, if they go up you have your lower rate locked.

I would recommend locking in price up front as well. I didn’t, waited the two months and got all excited, then had no leverage on price at the end other than walking away and starting over (which I don’t want to do!)

I put a deposit down yesterday for a 2024 X7 custom order on the next available June allocation. While I was at the dealership, I submitted a BMWFS credit app to lock in the May 2023 rate and my CA told me I was approved by BMW and everything was set. I didn't receive any specific paperwork from him other than the receipt for my deposit. Am I missing anything?

He said he would contact me in the next few days to finalize the build when his June allocations are available. Expect build in July and probable delivery in August, maybe sooner. Seems like that is beyond the 60 day window for a rate lock, but elsewhere I've seen others talk about this rate lock being extended for up to 90 days.

I posted elsewhere that I had difficulty getting a decent discount on a custom order X7 in and around my area. After some feedback and seeing other posts on this forum, now I'm hoping that I am not being mislead by this CA. This is my first time ordering a BMW. Wondering what others with experience think about this situation.

I am looking to buy a X7 40i as well. Do you mind posting how much % off MSRP you got?

I'm probably the wrong person to ask on the topic. I ended up using Costco program and got a measly 1K off MSRP with no addons on a June allocation. I was offered up to 1600 off, but in return the dealer marked up the MF (I'm planning to lease). That dealer was not being upfront about MF and addons (IMO) and were in a locale with a higher sales tax. I figured it was a wash deal-wise, so I went with the Costco deal instead since the discount is locked in and has the potential to increase if the program is better at the time of delivery. What I found odd was that no one I spoke to was willing to make a purchase agreement on the price since its an order, so I've been concerned they may change the terms when the car arrives.

$1k off MSRP before incentives is great (though BMW removed the loyalty incentive for June)! I also think it's strange that a purchase agreement was not created. Perhaps because there's no VIN associated w/the car yet?
