M-performance tailpipe finishers

Hi All.
I am considering retrofitting the car with these tips. Has anyone had experience with them yet? The LCi model has unpainted interiors of the exhaust tips - this makes the "silver" color visible, even with the M-Pro package.
Has anyone perhaps already retrofitted the car with these m-performance tips? If so - are they black inside? Are there no problems with "peeling" of the black paint inside, as there was before with the regular ones in the m-package?

So these are not mounted on the actual exhaust but rather only the “frame” surrounding exhaust. I think XB7 exhaust tips could actually fit X7 M60i exhaust, even on the X5. I am looking for the tips to be added as the current ones look ok but kinda basic. The exhaust frame divider on the M60i is also kinda basic. If anyone knows add on the exhaust tips would be great! Thanks

This is a popular setup here in this forum. I did it on mine also.
Very simple and low cost and easily replaceable, once it looses the initial shine.

If the XB7 exhaust would fit it would not be easy to get.
To order parts you have to go to Alpina and then Alpina makes you prove you own an Alpina.
