I can totally see some benefits on the 40i, but I’m genuinely curious as to what one would expect from an M60i without stepping up the suspension and drive train to the XB7 level. Aside from that, anyone is free to post whatever anywhere — welcome to the Internet.

Well for us poor folk who have the M50i, the Racechip GTS is a no brainer (especially since I got mine used at over half off). The extra boost it gives on this application is perfect! I just wanted a smidge more pep around town and this did it. Now it really feels like a zippy little sports SUV coupled with the oh so lovely DHP.

Does this affect the shift tuning or is it purely a boost/airflow increase and the transmission adjusts based on throttle input as it currently does?
The low end 50/50 version for $250 or so seems like a solid win. Curious how it affects various things such as seals and other components. I realize the B58 (talking about the 40i) is pretty underrated especially in the 2019-2022 version. I’d hate for it to shift later because it’s tuned towards power rather than comfort with power. |
