"All" during a certain build date from what I was told.
The most recent ones will already have this in the cooling system. I do not have a VIN range at the moment but if I can get my hands on more information I will post it.

So I just got hit with this...took my wife's X7 in for an oil change last week. 5 days later got this picture from my service advisor for one of the 4 recalls they were addressing...shocking, to say the least!
Replaced both charge air coolers and low temp radiator. Apparently they have to fill them, run the vehicle under a variety of loads, then refill them. Then repeat the process 3 times before BMW allows the vehicle to be released. Hopefully they got it all back together properly! Build date is 6/19. Has anyone else been through this? Dave |

Still open on mine... "Part unavailable". Looking at your photos I am glad but sorry to see you are going through this. Seems a bit odd they would take the entire nose off to add BMW's version of "Water Wetter".

I was curious and found the document for the original TSB that was posted. Considering BMW uses air/water charge air cooling systems on all of their new turbo vehicles (my F80 M3 has it, and the B58 engine in the 40i also has it among others), AND they all use the same BMW coolant that is also used in the engine cooling system, I wonder what happened in the N63 engine? Replacing all of the heat exchangers is definitely a bit extreme. I am guessing the silicone booster TSB is just a temporary fix until the heat exchangers can get replaced due to whatever material defect BMW is concerned about...
I found this site while searching a well.... https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Tech...in/2020/BMW/X7
