LOL. I'm staying there too. At the Marriott OceanWatch. My wife and I go every year. This will be our second trip there this year. We were there for Easter.

As a matter of fact, she is already there with my youngest son and her sister's family. My oldest has a soccer tournament this weekend that he wanted to really play in, so I stayed back with him and will drive down after the tournament.

Thanks! We are in Arlington Heights but my family has a 20+ year history with the dealership between my parents cars and my last 3 (128i, X3 and now the X7), so we make the trip to Orland.

The paint flaking is very odd. I will take to a local shop and see if my detail guy candy his thing with touch up paint. I don't want the whole 1/4 panel painted. I tend to not keep vehicles, we all know how paintwork devalues the vehicle.

It is so unnecessary.

Over 99% of the time, I park away from people. All it takes is once….

Had my wife's X7 ceramic coated last week. Turned out pretty good. Detailer used IGL Coatings. It was a 5 year product. I live in Florida, so i hope this helps keep the car clean with all the rain we have and nasty road grime.

Just loaded up every inch of the X7 for our first trip since we had our 3 little ones all under the age of 3. Doubt this will feel like a vacation and doubt the road trip will be as exciting as they once were, but it will be much easier in the M50i. Hope it does well on the beach because we're used to driving a Landcruiser up there and the sand can get pretty thick.
