Driveaway Protection

What does this mean ? 'Coded Driveaway protection'. I see that in the 'comfort and convenience' section on the overview. Is it something that can be programmed ?

Its a 'rolling' electronic code that constantly changes every time you start the car. It is communicated by your key into the ignition cylinder. This prevents, no I should say DETERS, would-be-thieves from being able to crack the code, start your car, and then drive away.
