2016 Chevy Camaro

As muscle cars are starting to enter the UK, apparently Chevy are re-thinking things and will release the new 2016 Camaro over here (hopefully in RHD).

I have to admit ladies and gents, this is one car that's a heart decision and I don't think I could resist *bites fist*. Of course get the 6.2 .

I must admit, I don't know if its Hawaii Five O or what but these are starting to edge the Mustang in the muscle car stakes, look bloody brilliant!

Oooooooh! Like others I Want One Of These, Now!
I hired one in The US a few years ago and loved it, 3.6 liter, V6, and still love it.
Have driven both new Mustang and Dodge Challenger since, I still want to go back to the Camero. When will they be in the UK?

Looks great.

Would prefer Dodge getting their act together and design / build a RHD Viper.....

Its pleasing to see some across the pond folks eyeballing US cars. They have had their share of problems over the years but once in awhile they turn out some products that are pretty darn good.

Having worked in Europe for a good part of 5 years back in the '90s I have had my share of European company cars and, you guys might think I'm crazy, but the Ford Mondeo and the Opel Omega were two of my favorites at the time. I always thought, why can't Ford and GM build a car like that for the US market instead of these soft, living room couches with wheels.

Its nice to see them producing products that get the attention of a population that knows good cars. I think the technology and know-how are there, they just need to exploit those attributes and become world-class competitors.

Not sure to be honest, they've just released them in the US. So the article says they are thinking of bringing the new one over..

They did sell the Camaro before, but it was LHD only so nobody bought it.

In the states they undercut the 'stang by a few thousand dollars, so it would need to be priced similar or less to that.

What kind of bracket would they fit in the UK?

3 series money? More? Less?

Starts at £30,495 up to £42,375 for the V8 Convertible Auto with all options and top paint.

Very well spec'd from the factory - unlike the 3er. And have climate seats option!

I think this will definitely be on the list when I'm looking at a new car in a couple of years!

Will probably coincide with me starting a family so seems appropriate to chop in an estate for one?

Don't think much on the look of the new one.

Actually prefer the one in the Transformer films

The stang does seem a bit better though.

When it comes down to 'Muscle Cars' for me there is only one option and that is the Challenger Hellcat, it is high up on my list for next car that's for sure

The Camaro is not bad though just lacking in the 'Muscle' department slightly

Is that in RHD or Left?

Totally pointless releasing a car here in LHD.

Nice one guys... Lets all ruin my choice of F80 as the next car and throw this into the mix

I'm hoping its not a bag of shite in refinement though. Our UK roads aren't exactly suitable for muscle cars are they? I'd need a thorough test drive!
