The key here is, if you are paying tax for your fuelcard use.

If not. You soon will be.

If you are, you should be able to claim as you suggest.

Already paying tax on the fuel card the taxman doesn't miss a trick when it comes to collection

Whilst venting at work, it seems everyone else has worse issues the me, due to our company changing name halfway through the year, people are getting taxed double and all sorts, it's no wonder the HMRC boss quit
