Is it just me, or is BMW's online owner's cicle website pretty useless?

The only good thing are the rewards. I still haven't received my "The Hire" DVD yet though...

Haven't received my copy either and I ordered it over three months ago. That was the only reward I was looking for so the site is completely worthless to me.

The Hire DVD is gonna be awesome ehhehe... hopefully the video quality is going to be real good. E39 and Dolby 6.1/DTS/blah blah anyone?

I've got the Hire DVD a while ago (2 years?). It's pretty good, especially the parts of how they actually made the movies.

As for the website being worthless. I have to agree, they never seem to have the latest owners manual on-line for like a year after car is released. The only upside is that through the BMWFS website I can make my lease payment on-line.

All you can really do with it is upload a pic of your car and update your mileage on the website odometer. Pretty stupid.

I think the Order Tracking is pretty useless. We have this magnificent speed of light technology called the Internet, and the owner's circle tracking is what? Always 2-3 days behind the actual production status at best? Then after your vehicle arrives at port, I was told that we have to call the dealership to get any further info? Huh?

I just signed up the other day and got all of my questions answered online. It does seem pretty useless. I thought that I would atleast get some discounts for parts or something.

Errrgh I thought my Hire DVD arrived already... it appears to be some sort of "Welcome" booklet from BMW :mad:
