Am considering this courtesy loaner...can I get a price check from more knowledgeable X7 folks?
Consider those 3 and be the judge based on the vehicle current condition.
As kbb one is excellent and the other is very good condition.

Hi,
price seems to be bit higher... dealer is ready to negotiate..? it has Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System but no DAP, Sky Lounge, leather dashboards etc ... I just purchased 2019 X7 with 5k miles more options than this one (- Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System) mine has harman/kardon Surround Sound System. I purchased it for $67500 + taxes+registration its lemon branded title for Reduced Driver Assistance Messages and KAFAS camera was replaced. of course they are not 🍎 to 🍏 but will give you a ball park. If you are not so particular about packages Alpha One in Austin had 2019 X7 with low miles ...listed for $67K and was ready to give for $66K but I opted for better packages. here is their link https://www.alphaonemotors.com/vehic...tx-id-35531305

That's absolutely crazy. No way that price makes sense for a loaner. Even brand new you should be getting a bigger discount than that off msrp.

Considering the abuse loaner cars go through, I would target something under 70k before I'm even willing to talk about it.
I second that. They are asking way too much. I got 10% off (plus incentives) on a brand new ordered X7

I really appreciate all of the great feedback. Seems this one is worth low to mid 70's at best...a lot less than this dealer is willing to take so on to the next one. 😊

Hello!

I am a long time BMW owner, but have always leased. I took a new job and will be driving a lot more.

I am going to be purchasing a X7, and I was hoping people had suggestions for dealerships with the best discounts and prices. I always leased from NY dealers and had the car shipped, but I want the best price since I will purchase. Does any one have recommendations?

Where are you located?
Also if you're going to be driving a lot more, you may want to look at a smaller vehicle unless you have to carry a lot of people/cargo or don't have to pay for gas.

I’m in Michigan. I want to be able to take the family on the road as well so the smallest I would consider is x5. Thanks

My first post on the forum - I would like to share something interesting happened today -

After not able to find a 2020 X7 40i inventory car having all the features/specs I want, I went ahead to build a 2021 with a local dealer (Dallas). The MSRP is $87,395. I got $5,500 discount from the dealer and $3,500 rebate ($2,500 finance and $1,000 from a corporate sales program with my employer), 60 months finance at 0.9% APR. At signing, the dealer told me that the rebate and rates are not applicable for 2021 model but they would honor their offer except for a 1.45% APR. I thought this would be a good deal as no other dealers were willing to promise me for the $3,500 rebate and the 0.9% APR.

Today the dealer offered me the second best offer reached out to me and is willing to build a back-up order for me just in case the dealer I ordered from would change the deal terms when they delivery the car. They matched the discount and promised would give me the lowest rate available. Any thoughts on this?

I think I saw someone mentioned in one of the threads that he has two exactly same build at different dealers but I don't know what his situation was.

Yea they had 2, one had 251 miles and the one I picked up had 51 miles on it. I think the one with 251 miles was the executive demo.

Doesn't have a lot of the options I wanted but couldn't pass up on this deal for a 50i.

My 2020 build was canceled by BMW since they couldn't schedule it in time. Looks like I will be going with the 2021 now! Time to find some deals. Will be interesting to see what August incentives are.

I didn't think they would do that if it's an already sold vehicle....were you waiting long for it? If you were use that to your advantage with your future dealer negotiations. Hopefully you weren't planning on some of the options that have been removed in 2021...that would stink even more. Good luck in your search!

It was right around July 4th. They are trying to see if they can push it with the higher ups at BMW. I didn't really want any of the canceled options for 2021 so I should be ok. I'm more worried about the bmw incentives and financing available for the 2020s.

Prob same boat as my dealer. I gave them a deposit in late June but they could not secure a 2020 allocation once July came.

In lieu of this, they offered me the same deal on a 2021 that they gave me on a 2020.

The way I understand it, since I ran my credit in late June, I'm able to pick the best program between June, July, and August.

Well at least you will still get what you want in the 2021 so nothing lost there. The dealer can match the incentives as a discount off the MSRP and still make a good sale so you should be OK there as well. Financing would be the kicker, you would have to wait and see in August what they offer for the 2021s if anything at all. Hopefully they continue the trend from over the last two months.

Hi- I am in L.A. I got an offer of 7% off MSRP on an x7 40i before incentives on a 2021 build. Anyone else doing a build in LA want to share their discount? This dealership opened with 5.5% off and I bought two X5s from them in the last 2 years. They gave me 10% off my last X5 but it seems harder to get 10% off now.

I am looking forward to the 48V mild-hybrid system and hoping it gives me another 2 MPG. That would be nice and probably make the gas mileage about the same as the X5 I am driving now.

Do the BMW lease and finance offers apply as per the date the order was placed or the day the car arrives and you actually buy the car?

If I order my car before the end of this month than do I still get the current finance deal special when I actually buy the car 6-8 weeks down the line?

What happens is when you place an order for you vehicle, you lock in the BMWFS rate and incentives for 60 days (East Coast) or 90 days (West Coast) - thought might be just 60 days now for both coasts.

If your order takes longer, you reapply toward delivery for another 60/90 day lock.

Locking in the BMWFS program incentives is a simple as having an application in the BMWFS system before the end of the program month.

When you vehicle arrives, you can finalize your deal with your locked rates and incentives when you ordered OR if the rates and incentives are better, you can request to close with the current rates. What you can't do is pick-n-choose rates from different monthly rate programs - eg July rate, August incentives.

You'll have to reapply for the new rate.

That's what I did on my G05, ordered and locked late Sep 2019 (awful residual, decent rates) and PCD delivery was scheduled for early Dec, I pressed my dealer to finalize my lease using Nov rates (+2% better residual, same MF rates, incentives).
