Seatbelt Recall

Flew out of town to pickup a new X7 today and they issued a seatbelt recall on it today before the paperwork was finished. That put a stop sale on it and I’m stuck in limbo. Only for models made between Apr 5-20th. Anyone by any chance have any insight to what exactly the recall was for?

Good morning! No insight news but we are in the same place. Were about to pick up my wife’s new X7 on Friday and they told us they were waiting on more info from BMW to see what they were supposed to check exactly on the seat belt.
Curious if anyone has info?

Interesting! My MY25 X7 40i was built on 4/12 and I just checked my VIN on BMW recall website and it doesn't show anything.

It’s not a recall, it’s a stop sale. You can call customer relations or the dealer and they will be able to see if it has a stop sale.

There isn’t a whole lot of info available and none on what the actual problem is and what/when there will be a fix.

I have had the car for 3 weeks so I am good from stop sale's perspective.

If yours is affected you will get a recall notice once it is processed.
