Hello,

I’m wondering if anyone have tried transferring digital key to new iPhone from old? How does it work? Will new iPhone take the old key as it and Car will recognize it automatically?

I just did the transfer from 13 to 15 last night. You have to go in BMW connect app in new phone and click on digital key to transfer. You need both physical keys and have to be in the car. Follow the instructions on phone. Was seamless and was done in less than five minutes.

Did same here, once u start the process on the phone with both keys with u inside the car, the car prompts u if u wanna switch your main key to the new phone and just 1-2 mins you’re done.

Thanks, as you mentioned, process was really easy! After starting a process on my new iPhone, car asked me if I wanted to transfer my digital key to new phone, once I confirmed, process went smoothly!
