You claim fuel pressure is at its highest point at peak torque. That makes sense and is what the chart I posted also reflects.

So, at peak torque, the chart I posted shows 30% trims. Why did your trims drop to less than 10% at peak torque? Remember you didn't raise the fuel pressure there, you claim. Spare me the you lowered boost argument as it would need to drop to stock levels of 6-8psi to get the trims down that low and you say 14psi.

Looking at this data I surmise you raised the pressure at peak torque significantly, which means you raised the peak pressure significantly, and are trying to hide that fact.
You surmise wrong

I wish there were more people on this forum that had the expertise to argue with Shiv. Most of us just nod our head and say good job.....

And another thread down the drain...lol

rmfast-- Peak pressure remains unchanged. It's a loggable parameter. We even implement a failsafe mode to make sure max pressure stays put. If you don't believe me about this, that's cool

Shiv shared info. According to you own admission you are deficient in the technical area. You really have nothing to share, just questions that sound as though they came from a mind with more technical ability than you.

The only reason I said you are a TB surrogate is because TB used to try to get me to ask Shiv purportedly technical questions. I declined. Your posts just have that certain aroma about them.

I'm just trying to keep the thread on topic and delete all of the side crap so we could attempt a technical discussion.

Perhaps the reason shiv isn't overly excited to deal with you might have something to do with your numerous degrading, argumentative, and classless posts you have made to him...and vishnu as a whole over the course of several other threads.

I mean come on....you act like an ass then wonder why he doesn't respond to you?

If you are legitimately looking for some answers....maybe you can ask the questions without a chip on your shoulder?

Correct me if I am wrong,

I thought the pump was mechanical and so you would think as RPMs raise pressure also raises. If you aren't spining more RPM then the duty cycle of the pump won't change (ie., 500rwhp at 7000RPM has same duty cycle as 200rwhp at 7000RPM). So the only control you have is the pressure relief valve or regulator.

I wouldn't think a mechanical pump can ever be overworked unless it is revved beyond its mechanical limitations. Even with electrical pumps, only if the voltage changes can duty cycle be altered.
