My big 24 hr. supermarket is now closed from 0100-0600.
Walked in at 0600.
Came out with 100 rolls of TP, 6 big boxes of Cheerios, and 2 bottles of Worcestershire for my winter garlic pan seared Delmonicos.

I tried to grab a couple extra bottles of the OTC stuff that helps my IBS. Of course, Target & WM were sold out. (I guess with all the TP panic buys, people figured thay would clean that out too) Thanks, aholes. Those of us that need the stuff now can't get it.

CVS & Giant are price gouging on it. I reported those piles of shit.

I just got back from the store because I wanted some eggs, the local Aldi was surprisingly well-stocked and very quiet. Parking lots for the walmart/target/meijer were also low attendance too

It's not so fun being in healthcare right now. I'm considered "mission critical" and have to be in the hospitals daily. Just got back from one and will be back tomorrow. I can't source any N-95 masks because the general public thinks they need 500 per household. Yet here I am in the thick of it without the PPE needed

My daughter is a nurse on the Cardiac Critical Intensive Care unit here in town. Not on the "front lines" like ER people are...but I still worry about her.

Best wishes for her! I’m in surgery each day. Cardiovascular, neurology brain surgery, electrophysiology, open heart, hybrid... cath lab stuff mainly. Same as your daughter, not frontline, but still exposed. My sites are currently considered “stage 2” which require a minimum level of PPE... of which cannot be achieved due to the lack of inventory. Current vendor I typically use has estimated ship dates as far out as July.
