2023 LCI recall for headlight software?
Anyone got the same message when logged into myBMW. I noticed the warning saying I need to get my car to the dealer so they can update the software for the headlight to comply with some US regulation. What if I don't bother with it?

I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it done. The dealer should update the software the next time you are in for service. On a different note. Just curious… how many miles on yours? And have you had any issues? I have about 2k on mine and it’s been flawless. Just some random ghost errors once In a while. But they go away with the next restart. Picked it up mid October. |

Also it's so annoying that sometime I was just walking around the house with my dog and the car got unlocked randomly. It's just too sensitive and I wish I can adjust the radius of the approximaty sensor.

Yes I agree with everything you said. I also have no idea why it tries to lock the car when there is a door open. You can hear it try as you walk away. My 2020 X5 did not do that. Hopefully they clean up some of these issue with software updates. Otherwise I love the vehicle. |
