Navigation Address Book
I have a 2002 X5 with Navi and going to an E90 330i with Navi. Is there anyway that the dealer and export and import my address book and memorized vehicle positions?
Let me know if anyone has been through this before. Thanks. nathan |

Sorry Nathan. It's definitely an interesting question...I'm just not too familiar with it. The BMW center would have to somehow download you're old book, then upload it into your new car. Do dealers' computers have hard drives where they could save this information, then just send it to the new car? That would suck if you have to re-enter all the names again. I have that same problem whenever I get a new cell phone. Good luck.

Would it be great if you could just save it all on a CD and load it through the Nav DVD slot?

Unless it's like the new SIM chips in cell phones the answer is probably not. They should work on something like that--it would encourage you to get a new car more often. Probably Acura or Lexus will have it first.
