Why would I want to do my own when I already have O2 sims? I want to decrease the ammount of wiring in my ECU compartment.

I don't think you understand. You install the resistors in the PnP harness. It becomes a part of the harness. There is no more wiring under your hood. Just a couple of small resistors two wires (that have even been color coded for convenience).

So is V2.1 completely dead in the water now? I ask because I would like to have the benefit of the TPS reference but, not the additional $375 cost of a PNP harness.

Just checked out the V3 install video:
Looks ALOT easier! But boy, it looks like blankets of wires. The pin to pin connections look like they just hook together...i.e. no clips or retainers to hold them in place?

The male and female subconnectors literally "snap" together. No need to fasten them in place with retainers. They won't vibrate loose.

Once the ECU is exposed, the whole install/uninstall is 5 min each way. With virtually no chance of getting anything wrong (since everything is keyed). And no wear and tear on the factory harness pins.

Just put in my order via the link in the sig. I suppose now i'll just wait for the fanatics to start demanding to know where their order numbers place them so I can figure out when mine will be arriving.

Any plans on taking a V3 with intake, full exhaust (catless), to the drag strip to see if someone can hit 120mph ET on whatever octane it takes to make it happen?
