antracite brown poplar matte finish wood trim

I’m about to order a carbon black exterior with black leather and I’m thinking antracite brown poplar matte finish wood trim. Does anyone have any photos that they can share or feedback on one that may look better? I like it because it seems attractive and understated (in photos online)… Thank you!

I have an arctic grey X5 with the trim - we love the trim - and also because of the texture it doesnt show finger prints and dirt like more shiny trims do. Am at work so can't post pics.

I've got that setup.

Here's a few quick picks. From inside the car, the exterior color isn't particularly obvious. It does go well with the black leather. I also like the black interior with the carbon black exterior.

Just got my '24 X7 this afternoon, with this trim:

sorry about the huge size but wanted to make sure you see how glorious this looks in detail.

It pops so much in the sun and I think it also has somewhat of a gold shimmer effect, the intricate details and patterns are great. I regret not getting it on my '22.

We just ordered a skyscraper gray with Black leather and anthracite brown poplar. It seems the best matte option for black seating surface.

We really like our black and poplar combo. We like the look and feel. It’s also nice as it isn’t reflective and doesn’t get fingerprints. Here are some pics.

Does the poplar and black look like black and brown together or does the poplar look more grey with it?

In my opinion it is very much a gray look to it. I do not notice brown.

This 100% no fingerprints whatsoever since its not one of the gloss finishes. I was between this and the carbon fiber. Happy with my choice
