How do you take .mpg or .wmv clips from a DVD? I have Adobe Premeire. Thanks.

It's not a simple 1 step procedure to do this...you'll need to Google DVD extractor, CSS DVD, DVDRip etc...for the correct utilities/guides to take apart the DVD files. You'll then need to convert them to .mpeg after which you would use Premiere to make the .wmv files.
