Despite the title of this thread, this update has some minor improvements. The most noticeable thing for us is it better handles two phone connections. Now if I get in the car and my wife’s phone was last connected, I can almost always get it to switch to mine. It’s still not as reliable as other cars for this, but it’s in a useable state now at least.

However , they can’t account for every one in a million combos. When it comes to your phone, just remove it from the head unit and delete the car from your phone and pair again. |

I did IOS update today so I'm curious if it helps. It did in our Audi where everything except Android was not working properly.. They say it's Apple problem.

I find that if you go into the WiFi connection , press I and disable the “private WiFi address” option , it is a lot more stable.
Apple added it to hide your real hardware Mac address but it causes no end of issues |

Same here! Mine is B.Gray and it shows ‘standard’ gray after 11/2023.42update! Don’t see a way to fix it via any options!

My update is stuck at 4% for the last one week. I don’t know how to fix it.

Took my '22 X7M50i out of winter storage last week, and took it for a 30 mile drive. Returning home and parking, the nav screen informed me it was ready to install the 11/2023 update. Managed to find the kill update notifications option and selected it. Then spent an hour trying to recover the instrument cluster navigation feature that disappeared a year ago after regretfully installing the 11/2022 update (which also introduced an assortment of other randomized settings). It magically reappeared when I deleted my driver profile, after no other manipulation of display settings would restore it. I know many others anticipate software updates as much as Xmas morning, but there's not a feature I can think of that would make me install another. 11/2022 still cooperates with Bimmercode. That and the absence of the 48V mild hybrid make my X7 a keeper.

Can someone confirm recent update makes adjustments to transfer case programming? That seems like it would be worth it over having ASS coded off at startup.

My SA mentioned the 07/2023 update addressed transfer case issues, so am assuming all subsequent updates will include the fix as well.

Thanks! Glad to hear it. I can attest the 11.23 update has not caused any issues for me since install. Everything works as expected.

My understanding was how the clutch was being activated was causing premature wear/failure (studdering). That problem seems most prevalent in the M50’s though based on another thread with reported issues. However, that is Anecdotal and not from the horses mouth.
