price increase! and the only functional change is in the DAP package being able to change lane by looking at your side mirror (gimmick IMHO)

None that I have been able to get information on besides what mattsrs mentioned.

I would expect they have some minor hardware changes they don't publish but no way to tell unless you compare parts diagrams.

Wonder if 2026 MY will have any changes or will BMW just wait until the G67 new model in August of 2027

there will be an upgraded sticker price.

highly unlikely any major changes between now and the G67.

That seems like a really weird feature. I look at my mirrors all the time while driving. I want to decide when to change lanes, not the car to "think" I want to and do it for me. Pressing on the turn signal with auto-pilot on is more than sufficient for that!

Yea absolutely useless feature and I am not sure why they even spent resource on it. Here's a video for live demo

Thanks for the video. I do not want that!

I would prefer a camera view on the rear view mirror though.

Agree! I love the added functionality of using the turn signal to have the 24 change lanes. I do wish it was a wee bit smoother though.

I might be wrong, but it seems like 2025 model X7 with DAP will not require driver to keep hands on the steering wheel during the assisted mode activated. Driver will just sit and relax.

Thats on 2024 too. With iDrive 8.5 (on my 24 x5), they made it even convenient that you dont have to change DAP mode to handsfree, the moment you remove your hands from the wheel , it activates the handsfree mode if you are on a supported highway. It is super nice! I drove 800 miles and drove handsfree 80% of it. Just saying this feature is not an addition in 25 models. Been there for a while
