X7 Rear Strip Chrome Delete (UPDATED W PHOTOS)

Can anyone who has done rear strip chrome delete on the LCI a post a picture or explain how they terminated the wrap on the sides (on the lights)? Going in to do the badges and strip on Monday. Thanks

Black out. Here it is. Terminated wrap at the edge. Could not be happier. Thanks IND for the beautiful gloss black badges.

That's nice, so it's on top of it? Hopefully it will hold because i would like doing the same for my frozen pure grey when it comes.

I am more interested in an LED Light strip instead of Chrome. I won't be surprised if BMW did it as part of some facelift down the line.

With the current trend they are following, I'd rather bet that they may remove the strip entirely to save cost than improving it, lol. Just kidding, but somehow am also serious. By the way this is already the facelift so I don't think this will change. Next generation? maybe...

I do think a full LED light bar will look nice, hopefully someone comes up with an aftermarket one.

Ok, I was thinking of updating my rear lights/chromestrip of my 2020 to the 2023 ones. Looks like a direct fit. My question is whether or not the lights would do the animation thing without additional coding after being put on. Any ideas?

Maybe a naive question, but how did you do this? Buy 3M wrap and cut it to size? Or does someone sell it precut?
