My x7 50i just had a message pop up only about 8k after my last oil change, that my oil levels are below the minimum and I need to add oil

Has anyone else had this?

My 2016 7 series had this, but this so the first time I'm having it with my x7

8k miles is a lot if you have the v8. I would do a oil service and not just add oil.
