Joining the ranks of X7 ownership
You can watch a recently created video on my channel - but the short version is, we are adding one more to the family and I can't fit three kids in the back of the F85. And a minivan is not in our future. So what does a BMW obsessed lunatic do? Order an X7 M50i!
I'm scheduled for production in April, here is my current build sheet. I decided to do a lease, rather than buy, this way I can work up to an Alpina XB7 later...because, you know, I need that for hauling kids and stuff. Post delivery run down

Within 35 min, entered production and was assigned a VIN, meaning the body has been assembled!

Just a heads up, mine sat in this state from 3/17-3/29. Then all of the sudden yesterday, the car magically went through body assembly, paint, assembly, QC and left the factory before EOD. I have a feeling you are right about the body and I hope it starts moving fast, but don't be surprised if the tracker doesn't make further progress for a week+

Thanks guys!
The optimist in me wants to think it's all happening in real time. I get warm and fuzzies visualizing the assembly.

Looks like it's left the factory and is on its way to NJ so that I can ship it to GA...
