i dont buy it.... it looks like a new 7 series with the 6 series headlights and rear end. which is probably close to what the new one will look like. but this is probably a photoshop type deal

I dig the look as well. I do like the current 7 exterior but really interested how the interior will turn out to be

What is interesting about the photos is that the front end incorporates the split bumper design of the e90. The rear deck chamfered edge is similar to that of the e90 as well.
From a styling standpoint, I am glad that the e90 does not have the X3 tail lights. My impression of the X3 is that it's a small, entry level SUV that looks a bit cheap. Reminds me of my g/f's Honda CRV, which by the way is a very nice little SUV. I just would expect a little more luxury from BMW in their small SUV offering. When styling cues of the e90 begin to show in other models of the future, one gets the impression that the e90 is on the cutting edge of a new styling trend for BMW for which I am glad. |

Hmm... I thought that Bangle's argument for his new design movement was to steer away from same sausage different lengths?
BMW should try to be brave and become discreetly understated again. I've liked alot of the new cars but the design repitition has now lost its appeal to me. |
