Odd iDrive behavior....

So, over the last several days I've been noticing my iDrive change the screen on it's own.

I normally view my Preset stations which are all SiriusXM channels. Lately my iDrive has been automatically changing from Preset view to SiriusXM view (where it shows all of the stations). I'll then change it back to Preset only to see it change back again.

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much consistency on when this is happening. Basically, it will happen several times in a row and then not at all the next time I drive the car. I thought I'd check in here and see if anyone else has experienced this before setting up an appointment to have it looked at.

Yeah, I’ve done the iDrive restart a few times. Problem still comes back.

Does your G07 have a MODE button on the steering wheel that can go to the last thing you used? On my f15, there’s a mode button right next to the scroll wheel on the steering wheel’s right button pod…and if I accidentally press it during some traffic maneuver…it can change-over to the previous iDrive usage (like from phone list or radio band or radio presets).

Just a thought.
