Does anyone have any experience with shipping cars to Europe from the US?

I like right next to the shipping port in NY so that's now going to be a problem.
I also have the title for the car and it's fully paid off.

I want to ship the car to Europe to sell it to a friend there...so does anyone have any experience with this and how I should go about it?

Also, how much would it cost to ship it over including insurance and port fees?
Based on some of my research, it would be around $1,900 for a sedan including taxes and insurance. Is this correct?
