A large blue tarp is what I use to do when I only had a SUV. If you have a trailer hitch get a small hitch mount carrier and keep it on the back and outside the Merino leather.
These days I daily a Power Wagon so it’s a non issue. |

I’ve done a fair bit with my 2 X7’s, the hitch basket is the way to go, just be mindful of the 606 tongue weight max.

Ha, no, genuine question. I plan to scout a few areas and it dawned on me that if I have an opportunity to take something, I am not setup properly. Having friends and family with proper hunting rigs is nice, but we're not always together. Haven't considered a basket...I do have a hitch.
