Auto hold weirdness
I pulled into a parking lot and put her in park. I notice out of my rearview mirror at the reflection in the building window that my rear brake lights including the light at the top of the tailgate are shining bright as if my foot is on the brake pedal. I pressed my brake to see if this makes a difference and nothing. Is this normal due to the Auto Hold feature?

Yes. Because if you're at a red light using that feature, you'd want the cars behind you seeing your brake lights to let them know you're stopped.

Does it turn off when you shut the car off?

Not sure if that's normal, but I could see the argument either way. One being that in Auto Hold, the brake light comes on whenever you're stopped, regardless. The other being that if you're in park, there's no reason to illuminate the brake light.
