I've been lurking the forums for awhile and finally got my 2009 335i xDrive and I'm looking to by some lc818's but I'm not sure which set up would be best. I have stock suspension and I'm guessing not sport since I have the xDrive... Correct? I definitely want 19s.

What would be the best set up for my car..? Anyone have pictures of a stock lci 335xi with silver/satin black lc818's? Thanks!

well, i personally think that 19s will look pretty ridiculous on the stock ride height of the X-Drive models.
with that said, no body can tell you what wheels are good - it depends on what you like!

Well would the H&R Street Performance Coilovers do the trick of lowering it to a good height?

You'll need to define "best set up for my car".

Do you mean lightest (best for tracking)?
Do you mean strongest (best for pot-hole crashing)?
Do you mean best looking (best for looking at while parked)?
Do you mean lowest-cost (best when money is tight)?
Do you mean largest diameter (best for ..... well, I still haven't figured that out)?

What are your needs/wants/expectations? Answer that and you'll probably get more (and better) replies.

Yes. Other options would include: KW V1, KW V3, TC Klines, HPA, Eibach or H&R springs paired with Bilstein or Koni shocks. There's more that I can't think of right now...

Not sure about the rims is all up to personal preference i like my 19" rims there the perfect size.

Tires if you're looking into runflts go with BridgeStone Poteza or ContiSport Contacts

Regular Tires: Pirelli if you can cough up the dough. Michelin high performance will do the job

Best does depend on what you value, and what you can afford. To me, good value rims are VMR...good price, love the style, and though you will hear they are not strong because they are low pressure molded, I've run them for 2 years on Taipei streets and never bent a rim on 19" non-RFT tires, so to me, VMR does it right. That said, there are certainly lighter/more performance oriented rims out there.

Tires....I think the consensus is quite strong...Michelin PSS are excellent tires. For the price difference in the US market, that's the tire I would run too. That said, in Taipei, PSS are exactly twice as expensive as Hankooks, so I bought my second set of Hankooks yesterday, this time going with Evo S1 tires. I have no complaints about the tire; to me they give me 85% of what the PSSs offer at 50% of the price, so I chose to save $1000USD on this purchase. If I had a 335 and drove aggressively, I certainly would be more likely to go with the PSS to handle that power and put it to the road.

For me, Pirelli and Brigestones (S-04 Pole Positions aside) are really loud tires that did not work well for me. Michelin PS 2s were the best tires I've ever used (and PSS are even better!), but the Hankooks really do shine for value and quality in my book.

As for wheel style...that's completely personal preference. I will whore out my new rims here...I personally love them, even though it's clear that a) I can't take good pics and b) My car needs to be lowered (which will happen a year from now when the warranty is up!

I have LC818's on my E90 with stock suspension except mine is not xDrive. I'd like to drop it but I just bought my car last year & I don't want to void my warranty. My setup is 8.5x19 et 37 with 235/35/19 front & 10x19 et 30 265/30/19 rear.
