I have searched the sites, but still not quite clear on how to get YouTube or other video played through the front screen by streaming from iPhone. I guess Bimmer code is needed to unlock the feature? what about iPhone, can it using the screen mirror? I never got any video played on the Front dashboard screen.

I have no Rear Entertainment system in this car.

I believe it can only be done from Android using Miracast.

Does it support the miracast protocol? As long as it can run mirrorcast protocol and connect to the in car wifi, it should work. Ofcourse you would have to have the video file saved locally or you would have to subscribe to the 4g hotspot service in the car.
