whats the difference between weather tech non Xi and Xi floor mats?

I thought all the floors of the insides were the same. I have a 6MT and my buddy is selling his e90 weathertec mats but he had a an all wheel drive (XI)

Whats the difference?

I believe on the Xi there is a bump on the floor on the driver side. That makes the driver side mat different.

All Weather Mats

I'm using the OE all weather RWD mats in my 2011 328xi wagon. They fit OK. The AWD does have a small intrusion just in front of the seat on the tunnel so they don't sit flat. I think as they get older they'll "form fit" I think AWD mats should fit OK in a RWD.

Well I grabbed them but since with the windchill is -19 degrees I couldn't put the tabs in to see the fit. I put it in there and it looked like it fit good.

I'll come back tomorrow with results/pic but it looks like it it fits ok

As far as I know, the drivers side is the same. The only difference in the passenger side is the added hump where the differential is on the AWD models.

I mistakenly bought the i version and the drivers side did not fit right in my xi.Had to return for the correct item.
