Spacer suggestion
So I like my freshly repainted stock wheels (#71246) but I'd like a wider stance. Could you guys help recommend me a setup to space them out to the edge of the fenders? Nice and even, front and back, 17x7 et 47.

Tire size and manufacturer will have effects on this. Best option is to measure your existing "gap" and decide how much of that space you want to fill. Then you know what spacers to get and how much longer your wheel bolts need to be.

Thank you for the help I was hoping someone had already done the work and I could just order them off of pics of the results. On the other hand, my father says he does this kind of this all the time for Porsches so he's going to help. Thank you for the response!

Front would have more space than rear.
maybe 15-20mm front and 10-15mm rear. Rear spacers are tricky due to the size of hub lip. Get the ones reviewed here or for e90. For reference some on stock sport/msport suspension for 128i - front 18x7.5 et49 wheel looks great with 12mm spacer. 225/40/18 - rear 18x8.5 et52 wheel typically can be run with 8-10mm spacer. Some have done 12. I would be safe and prefer 8mm for 255/35/18.
