Wastegate Actuator Learning

Changed out the Wastegate actuator due to a drivetrain malfunction now I have code P1290. No engine light but code is stored. Any help??

Did you adjust the wastegate actuator nut after reinstall? Can’t remember how to adjust it properly since i had my shop do it and they let me watch and they explained.

Yeah when I bought it it already came calibrated. It is opening and closing from what I can see but still saying it needs to learn it. Any ideas?

Sorry out of my wheelhouse now. Sounds like it might be a function that an auto logic or dealer code reader has to do.
