The loyalty credit is still in place but I believe you have to currently lease or own a BWW after a certain model year. There is also a finance credit if you borrow at least $7500. I think it’s $500. In addition, I received an invite to test drive any new BMW and there is an additional $1000 but I’m told the dealer splits it with you. I go next week to qualify for my extra $500. All told with rebates and discounts, I got $9,250 off an MSRP of $116,645 MSRP. That’s 8% off total plus I got what I wanted for my trade. It’s due to be built next month.

Just picked up a leftover, loaded 2020 M50i.
MSRP: 116,795 Out the door for 115k, mind you that's including 10% CA tax, before tax price was 104k. Not stellar deal but it was the only car in the entire country with the specs I wanted. |

Does anyone know whether BMW still offer the $2500 finance credit (as mentioned in previous posts) for MY21 X7?

Looks like MY21 only $1,000 APR credit. $2,500 is only for MY20. You can enter your zip code in BMW site to see the current incentive. To get a good deal for MY21 might have to wait till the end of the year.

No insight until early September - usually a couple of days in around Sept 4.

I submitted an app in June so there would have been nothing to lock on since it ended up being a MY2021. Thinking I may have to resubmit an app in August to have the flexibility of taking delivery in September. |

I also don't have anything locked but wanted to see if I can at least get them to agree to August lease terms in case rates get worse in September ( seriously doubt this and if not anything it might improve based on Q2 sales results...) https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/a...language=en_US It's a tough one as wife wants her car sooner than later |

Historically BMWFS lease rates, residual values and incentives are consistent from Jul to Aug and change from Sept to Oct then improve in Nov to Dec and decrease in Jan.
Here's my historic tracking of fall BMWFS lease rates for G05: 2020YM X5s Aug 2019 - 0.00145 MF, 10K/58%, 12K/57%, 15K/55% Sep 2019 - 0.00128 MF, 10K/56%, 12K/55%, 15K/53% (-2% residuals on 2020 to move 2019 inventory) Oct 2019 - 0.00128 MF, 10K/56%, 12K/55%, 15K/53% (-2% residuals on 2020 to move 2019 inventory) Nov 2019 - 0.00128 MF, 10K/58%, 12K/57%, 15K/55% Dec 2019 - 0.00128 MF, 10K/58%, 12K/57%, 15K/55% Jan 2020 - 0.00137 MF, 10K/57%, 12K/56%, 15K/54% But since we're still in the middle of a pandemic, this can change next month. What's great is BMWFS lease rates are at an all time low, BUT residuals are low on X5/6/7s and very high on BMW sedans, and new year model lease incentives start low. What BMWFS might do is increase remaining MY20 residuals to move inventory. :crosses fingers: for members taking delivery soon and for better Sept residuals and incentives

As I mentioned, we're still in middle of financial pandemic uncertainty. What I think is certain is that the MF will stay low and BMWFS will adjust residuals and incentives as needed to move units to close out the year. Scanning Mid-Atlantic X7 inventory, there's not a lot. I doubt residuals will drop any lower, as BMWFS has a tendency to inflate rates despite being historically low, and lease better than many popular Japanese brands like Acura MDX which has residuals in the low 50 to 50% - yikes!

Thanks again Auricom. Man, wish I could see 12K residuals at 57-58% vs current 54%. I think the best thing I can do is have the dealer honor August rates just in case things go south in September.

August Promo - Rebate - $750 MF - 0.00099 Residual - 55% for 10k miles Lower the MF the better. But higher the residual the better, correct? Do you think I should hold out for a Sept 4 delivery at this point? My last application was in June so my thought is to run and submit a new one now for August lock then delay delivery till Sept with the hopes that the rates or rebates improve. Not in a rush to take delivery, just would need to push back my detailer and tint appointments so nbd. |

For example a 36/12K lease on a 100K X7 with a selling price of 90K (10% discount) and 0.00099MF (2.38% APR) and ignoring other factors like incentives, taxes etc: 54% residual = $1143/mo approx 55% residual = $1116/mo approx 56% residual = $1089/mo approx 57% residual = $1062/mo approx 58% residual = $1035/mo approx 56% residual saves you $54/mo or $1944 over the term of a 3 year lease 57% residual saves you $81/mo or $2916 over the term of a 3 year lease Every 1% increase/decrease in residual value is approximately $27/mo.
