Call the BMW genius line they can tell you the current scheduled prod week. Once it shows "Production Begins" and it gets a vin in MyGarage, you can use the F12 trick to know the exact prod start date.

This ^. I also only have my production number and the folks at the 1-800 BMW line were able to give me my production date for my 2025 X7 M60i at Week 17 even though the F12 options doesn't show anything yet.

Thanks. I've seen references to F12 previously. What exactly does it mean?

Guys,

When and how did you get the production number? Moreover, how long have you waited your order status change from 112 to 150?

You should get your prod number from your SA when you ordered if they had an allocation. I would ask your SA for your prod number, if they don't have one then they are waiting for an allocation.

It will switch from 112 (you can change options) to 150 (locked) 2 weeks prior to production date.

You can call the genius number to get your prod week once you have a prod number.

Hefty Price Increase

I just compared our 2024 M60 build to the exact 2025 M60 build and the price is nearly $3K more....base for the M60 is $2200 more, DAPP is $300 more...prices are going up up up!

Same for me …. I changed my original X7 M60i custom order from a 2024 to a ‘25 and the price went up (I think) $2,900, equal to 2.3% on a 2024 MSRP of $123,750. I have to say that is at least in the realm of reality given it’s roughly inline with underlying inflation.

And it looks particualry reasonable when I compare it to what Porsche is doing with their prices …. When I compare what I paid for my 2023 911 Turbo S Cab versus the 2024 model year (in the exact same spec), the price went up $16,000, equal to 6%!

Well, sir, do you get a bowl of soup with that hat? Anyway, this is after a hefty increase from '23 to '24 and the '24 model year being a little shorter than I remember (maybe 9 months???)...btw you have an awesome garage...if I had your cars, I would throw mine away!

Porsche is just ripping off its fans at this point. The price increase on the Cayenne is also outrageous. BMW increased the price but the discounts and incentives will get steeper this year so it will be wash

Ordered my X7 40i today. My first BMW. Got a production date of week 18. Am I correct to assume that it means the week beginning May 5?

-2025 X7 40i
—Tanzanite Blue II Metallic, Cognac Sensafin, Anthracite Poplar Matte Wood trim
—M Sport, M Sport Professional, DHP, DAP, Executive, Climate Comfort, Parking Assistance, Running Boards, Spare

Both our kids are in child seats, so the SA recommended skipping leather. Their butts wont touch the surface for the foreseeable future, so we went with Sensafin.

Got 8% off MSRP, plus $1k incentive, so total 9-ish %. Negotiated two other dealers down to 10%, but neither had April allocations, so went with this dealer despite the lower discount. We have a family trip coming up in June and I wanted to have the car in hand at least a month in advance to familiarize myself with it.

I’m excited to be here! This is my first BMW, coming from over 15 years in various Audis. My current car is a 2014 Q5 Prestige, supercharged 3.0 V6 with a stage 1 ECU and TCU tune, which makes about the same power as the X7 but in a much smaller package.

P.S. If anyone is interested, I’ve attached the 2025 pricing guide.
I have your exact same build, but a 2024 model built about 2 months ago. Minus the running boards and M Sport Professional. Plus the trailer hitch. Otherwise 100% same. You will love it!

Ooh thank you so much for the many pictures - you are my favorite person on the internet today! Your car looks fantastic! I’ve been scouring YouTube and the random pictures thread here to find a combination similar to mine. I ordered Tanzanite Blue purely based on a few seconds’ glimpse of an X5 more than a year ago whose dark blue popped so much that it is now etched in my memory. It definitely was a deeper blue and had more pop than Phytonic, but was darker than Marina Bay but bluer than Carbon Black, so I deduced it to be Tanzanite.

Good news, it should be a week earlier than that! (just google “2024 week numbers”):

They switched to MY25 from 3/28. Anything before that in March was MY24
