Hey all,

This is my first post, as I just purchased a ‘21 X7 M50i. Been waiting months until the right deal came around. In a perfect world, I wanted the exec package because of the SkyLounge. My M50i popped up and the deal was too good for me to let slide, but didn’t have exec package…

With that said, has anybody done anything aftermarket wise like installing led stripes to somewhat mimic the skylounge??

I tried various searches referencing this but couldn’t come across anything. TIA.

Not worth the effort and $. It is a gimmick IMHO or at best a party trick that you forget about after a month.

ugh, it's not a gimmick to most. It's awesome, and just as awesome as the led lights inside and the B&W speaker lights. That's just your opinion

B&W lighting is killer!

Sky lounge... also killer! BUT, as the driver, you'll almost never enjoy it so I kinda agree with forgetting about it...

Don't get me wrong, I ordered exec package just for the massage function and this sky thing is a nice feature but the point I was making is that if I bought a car that didn't have this feature, I wouldn't go above and beyond to add it.
