Flimsy roof panel and dents
Hey everyone, I'm curious about how everyones non sunroof roofs are holding up. I've had the paintless dent guy out 3 times in 4 months. It's crazy how flimsy the roof panel is.

Once It was from a palm frond falling on the car. The other two times I can't say, I noticed them when washing the car and have never found anything on or near the car.

I am about to replace mine with CF.
It's not going to be cheap. |

Given that this is the only time I have seen it brought up on the forums... I am going to say this is not a common issue.

It's also way stronger than the OEM steel roof panel so I wouldn't be too concerned with palm fronds and acorns and that sort of thing. I think the easiest solution for OP is to just stop parking under palm trees. |

The thing is, I never park under tree's. 40+mph winds are a pain and that instance was just bad luck.
It doesn't explain how I'm getting dents on the roof when there isn't any clear sign of what caused it. The solution is to replace the panel with CF but I'm just not keen on the cost of install. |

I just can't help but think the panel itself is very flimsy. It's very easy to flex the roof when you're wiping it down. Frustrating only because my "luxury" car feels like an econobox

Just wait until you get a coconut on your roof

Labor is almost as much as the panel costs.
