The split lights look terrible imo.

Let's see.. interior is a disaster, front end a disaster, entire exterior a disaster. But I bet she drives real nice!

I'll be honest, after seeing the 2023 X7 in white, I thought it looked horrible.
I now, after seeing it in darker colors (black, Tanzanite, Marina Bay), think it looks pretty cool. The ID8 will kill it for a lot of people. But on a boat-sized SUV like this, I don't mind the ID8 and super-minimalistic center console area. Incredibly spacious.

It's growing on me, but only in darker colors. Back actually looks more aggressive with the minor taillight changes.
On the fence about getting a current gen used model or splurge on the LCI. ID8 looks cool (getting it in my M50 on order) but not so sure I like the tacky LEDs with the X7 logo in front of the passenger. Anyone know if just that part can be turned completely off? |

Agree, can't unsee Hyundai Sanata Fe when I see it. Also not a fan of the ambient light graphics, look a bit cheesy, would have preferred a simple strip of lighting.

The appearance of ID.8 notwithstanding, there are some reviews out there about its lagginess and relatively unintuitive menu layout. For me, the integration of climate controls with fewer hard buttons is a deal killer. Volkswagen is taking all kinds of heat for that in the new Golf/GTI. Not saying ID.8 isn't better than VW, but why cheapen the controls on an $85k+ vehicle? |

My dealers first two arrived yesterday as well. An M60 and a base 40.
I think they look great in person, especially the M sport. The iD8 screen also flows much better than it does in the iX. |
