I’m right there with you. Although I would hate to be banned from the XM discussions simply because we have opinions. I saw my first one today on the road. Real life doesn’t do this thing any justice.

What's the over under on when these things get a ton of trunk money like the M8's a couple of years ago? I just don't see it. Slower than an X5M. Less rear headroom than an X7. Weird styling in the rear glass. Squinty headlights. G-Wagon-ish pricing.
I'm really at a loss as to where this car fits in the mix. Who is the target market for a $165K BMW clunker of an electric truck that takes nearly 10 seconds to get to 60 mph in full electric mode if you haven't burned through the measly 30 mile range. Only way I see myself in one of these is there are some serious deals out there or if it looks infinitely better in person. Otherwise I just see these sitting on lots outside of higher end markets.

Saw one in person this weekend and while I appreciate the interior, lots of fun stuff in there, the exterior is still bad.
The dealer had it at a C&C and there was a guy interested in it. He said it was ugly online but he thought it was OK in person. I said it was still ugly. The dealers started telling us about the power and features. Still like polishing a turd...

Just noticed those exhaust or air vents on the dash. Tacky. The whole car is tacky… if bmw had built a jeep or G wagon or defender direct competitor I’d buy it but this thing is just awful
