Yes it makes it a louder, no issues with driving car, and it should not void warranty.

But doesn't the exhaust button in the car open the flap of the lower exhaust anyways?
Do you find it to be louder in general when the gas engine is on when just cruising around the city?
Also, is the exhaust note louder when you place it in "sport" mode over "road" mode?

The exhaust button probably does open flap more but not all the time as pulling the fuse would. The exhaust button definitely pipes more sound through the speakers.

It is louder in general when fuse is pulled cruising when ICE is on and also more in sport mode than road mode due to changes in shift points/higher rpms IMO.

I’m interested in doing this.. Have you noticed any difference in the car driving? & is fuse 203 just designated for controlling the valves functionality?

With them fully open (pull fuse when WOT) there is more of a difference. From what I can tell pulling fuse 203 doesn’t do anything else to vehicle.

This is going to sound stupid, but where is this ? Trunk? Engine bay? How do you do this?

This was an awesome tip!
It def adds more noise to the exhaust and more gurgles and pops.
I'm actually pretty surprised how quiet the exhaust is on this car stock.

Another way to open the valves is to move the valve servo to the mounting position using the ISTA+ program. After that, remove fuse 203.

This is safer than having someone in the rear compartment of a moving vehicle pull the fuse at full throttle LOL!

Maybe stupid question: how does one actually pull the fuse? 😅

I tried pulling it or yanking it out with a tool, but it won't budge...
