Driver leg room with forward facing car seat in 2nd row?

I'm struggling to find any good pics/info on how much leg room remains for the driver if a forward-facing car seat is placed in the 2nd row behind the driver. I'm 6'1" and am worried I'll be a bit cramped. I need to have a 2nd car seat for baby on the opposite side so can't really flex on the location for my 3yr old. Thanks!

You should have plenty of space. I'm 5'11.5" and with my seat in a comfortable position, my 5.5 year old has no problems in a forward facing seat directly behind me. He has a lot of leg room available. This is with the 2nd row in the rear most position.

Should have more than enough simply because the 2nd row can be powered back to where ever you want.

You should have no problem at all with a forward facing seat. I'm 5'11 and a rear facing car seat fits fine in the 2nd row, without even moving the 2nd row seat all the way back.

Do you have the bench or the captains chairs?

I’ve got the captains and there is a ton of room.

I am in the exact same situation (I’m you’re same height and have a 3.5 y/o and an infant). I picked the bench option on my 2021 X7 because it maximized the room between 1st and 2nd row, and the captains chairs don’t have enough room between them to allow passage to the 3rd row anyway. There is plenty of room to put either car seat behind me in the driver seat. I have the 3 y/o behind me currently, and while he can reach my seat with his feet, he’s certainly not squeezed. If anything, there might be a little more room than he’d like because he can no longer reach the pockets on the kick-guard that’s on the back of my seat.

You're going to be perfectly fine
I'm 6'2 and I have 3 car seats in the second bench row.
Two facing forward and one rear facing and I have the seat all the way to the back and my kids have plenty of freeplay leg room to stretch fully straight to be able to reach the back of my seat.
My kid behind me Is 115cm tall and uses a full sized 5 point harness car seat. With no issue.

Ultimately my advice is take the car seat and the kid for a test drive. I certainly did that with the whole family to make sure I don't make a mistake.

FYI personally I believe that the best leg room to get is in QX80 and Navigator if you're into that type of vehicles. Yet I'm in an X7.
