Any v2 user. However, I'm not going to update until I have cause to open the hood again (i.e. get my drop in filters, or v2.0.3 arrives).

Sweet!

Yeah, this updated v2.0.2 map has "slightly" more hp up top and "slightly" more torque down low as well.

Shiv, is this map for the 6AT users too?
And does it fix the large power drop off in the last 200-300 rpms that
v2.0.2 12-11-07 has?

Thanks!

OK, what's going on though?

I logged in but when I click on the updated firmware for download it's asking me to log in again and saying, "you do not have permission to access this page, or you are not blah blah blah"
But I can download the new updated map???

Hi guys,
I tried to make an announcement on this forum earlier but the site was temporarily closed for maintenance

Anyway, the new maps and firmware should be a step in the right direction. I haven't heard back from all of our limp-prone (I mean that with the most possible respect ) testers due to weather conditions preventing most folks from doing any solid runs. Most of them who have managed to do some testing, have reported back that the 3rd to 4th gear limp mode is gone. However, here are a couple stragglers who still have it and i've the necessary datalog info. Again, the weather slowing things down. But safety comes first!!!

Anyway, if anyone still throws a limp mode during that 3rd to 4th gear shift, all they need to do is email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com. I'll email back with a request asking for a datalog Once provided, I'll crunch the data and send back a custom map that will solve the issue. I don't expect this to be a common scenario since only a small percentage of people threw the limp in the first place. But we are aiming for a 0% limp rate and will work with customers on a case-by-case basis until every case is solved.

Best Regards,
Shiv

Shiv do I have to be "online" with the PROcede v2 reader and datalog program to download the updated firmware?

I tried to download the updated firmware to my desktop but it would not let me.
BTW too, once I am able to download the new firmware, and am "online" with the serial cable connected, car ignition on (but engine off) do I just click on "update firmware" from the pulldown menu and then select the updated firmware that I downloaded?

After that is complete, then I can uploade the new map you just posted correct?

Thanks

Download from the Vishnu site? You need to be a registered user to download...is that the problem?

Yah, once you download and have it unzipped, select update firmware and select the "..." box to point to the location you unzipped it to. Then start update.

Yep. No problem. All the new firmware does is activate a new feature that was used to be disabled. Older maps don't ask for that feature so it's all good.

Hey Shiv,

Weather wasn't the best but was able to do a couple of runs in and no limp mode
Before i was ALWAYS able to reproduce but not any more. Do you want logs still? If o, i'll try to do a few runs late tonight! Shoot me a pm or email and i'll do a few data runs.
