Are the brakes on a 435i the same as a 435d on the front?

I also spoke with Kevin at Birds about the Alcon kits. He keeps them in stock and they're cheaper, and British, so leaning towards them.

Would the MSport front brakes fit on the rear? Just thinking that when I get my new Alcons I could put the fronts on the rear if so!

You don't need a different BBK. You need track/race pads like the pagid RS29. They are track only pads. StopTech make a nice BBK, and thats what I have on my m3, but I still have to run track pads (pfc 08). I have tried doing fronts only and it makes the car nervous under high speed brake zones. Get the RS29 pads and you will be good. https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...f87-m2/?pdk=AQ https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...f87-m2/?pdk=AQ

I think that's a tall order - you would need - different rear discs that include handbrake drum in the centre hub [maybe F8x rear discs perhaps ??]; - to check piston area of oem fronts c/w new Alcon 6 pots to ensure stock master cylinder has sufficient volume capacity to be able to move a greater volume of fluid at all 4 corners. Lots of experimenting - might be more cost effective to go for either M5/M6 4 pot rears with suitable disc or alcons AE at the rear....... BP
