CA automotive will do them cheaper. I got this from them yesterday after a chat on the phone:

"Thank you for the enquiry.

Ref: BMW F31 335d Touring.

At present we have a special offer of an extra 10% discount (our prices are normally discounted by 20%) until 12.10.2016.

Therefore we can offer you the Stoptech BBK kit for the above vehicle for £2750.00 inc vat, plus delivery £30.00, Total £2780.00.

After 12.10.2016 the price will be £3056.00 inc vat, plus £30.00 delivery. Total £3086.00.

The present lead time is approx. 3 weeks from date of order."

I also spoke with Kevin at Birds about the Alcon kits. He keeps them in stock and they're cheaper, and British, so leaning towards them.

Would the MSport front brakes fit on the rear? Just thinking that when I get my new Alcons I could put the fronts on the rear if so!

Curious as to whether there are any issues for daily driving? Not so bothered about dust, but squealing would annoy.

They're expensive and I don't track the car regularly, so was thinking to just do the fronts.

You don't need a different BBK. You need track/race pads like the pagid RS29. They are track only pads. StopTech make a nice BBK, and thats what I have on my m3, but I still have to run track pads (pfc 08).

I have tried doing fronts only and it makes the car nervous under high speed brake zones.

Get the RS29 pads and you will be good.

Tengo,

I think that's a tall order - you would need

- different rear discs that include handbrake drum in the centre hub [maybe F8x rear discs perhaps ??];
- to check piston area of oem fronts c/w new Alcon 6 pots to ensure stock master cylinder has sufficient volume capacity to be able to move a greater volume of fluid at all 4 corners.

Lots of experimenting - might be more cost effective to go for either M5/M6 4 pot rears with suitable disc or alcons AE at the rear.......
